You’ll meet with a provider for an in-office evaluation. Your provider will examine the wart, discuss symptoms, and determine whether CO₂ laser or cryotherapy is the most effective option for you.
Your selected treatment is performed during the same visit. With cryotherapy, liquid nitrogen is applied to freeze the wart tissue.
With the CO₂ laser, a precise beam gently vaporizes the affected tissue.
Both methods take only a few minutes and do not require anesthesia.
After treatment, the area may blister or scab as the wart tissue clears. Most patients heal within 1–2 weeks. Some warts—especially deeper plantar warts—may require multiple sessions. Follow-up visits help ensure full clearance and monitor for recurrence.

A focused beam of light vaporizes wart tissue with precision while minimizing damage to the surrounding skin.
